Sit in a comfortable seat. Draw your shoulders over the hips. Slight tuck of the belly. Bring your right hand to the heart, left hand over that. Allow your thumbs to touch. Inhale take a deep breath right into the heart space. Open the mouth and exhale that out. Inhale feel the heart rise. Exhale, notice what it's like to let it go.
Do this for about 5 - 10 breaths, until you find your grounding. Then ask your heart what does it desire most. No need to think simply explore. You might receive a lot of messages. You might receive none. Just listen without judgment. Explore the depth of your tenderness. Explore the depth of your breath as you feel your heart rise and descend. Notice the quality. Notice what it feels like to hold your heart in the hands. Notice the mind. Stay with your heart. Stay here for a few more minutes, simply holding your heart asking it tenderly what it needs most, right now. Then gently come back to the body, Grab your journal and ask yourself these questions? How does your heart feel today? What does it desire most right now? What supports you in exploring these desires further? What actions, activities and practices do you need to take to better align yourself with your heart? How can you include more of this in your life? What are some ways you can welcome more love and tenderness in your life? Now write three affirmations you will bring and keep in this season (at least)! For example, I am using these right now:
Meditate daily. Review your answers daily. Read your affirmations out loud everyday. You will begin to see the patterns of your own knowing. Listening to your heart takes practice and vulnerability. Following your heart, takes courage and strength. We may succeed and we may fall. Either way, there's always so much to unravel and learn along the way. Are you willing to expand your magnetic field?
