It's spring! A Time to detoxify our bodies and replenish our minds! Join us for a deeply healing practice designed to stimulate the liver and kidney meridian lines which, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, are responsible for detoxification and regulating our central nervous system, and fight or flight mode. Using grounded poses, mindfulness, breathwork, and Thai touch we will awaken to the subtle energies of the kidneys and liver meridian lines, and learn how to attune our emotions, stress levels, and their responses. The practice will be focused on releasing tension from our lower body including the legs, hips, pelvis and belly. The passive long-held poses of Yin yoga help stretch the deepest parts of us, the connective tissue or fascia while increasing our flexibility and range of motion. From an energetic perspective, the slow and nurturing ways of Yin gives us the opportunity to notice our tension patterns and free ourselves from anything that might be keeping us tight and limited. |
Come for an intensely loving experience. Leave feeling revived, refreshed and restored. Yogis, athletes and all or none of the above welcomed. No experience necessary.
