For Oily skin, try:

  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons fresh aloe (or, in a pinch, aloe vera gel)
Raw eggs?  Yes darling, raw eggs. Egg whites contain a natural antibacterial than can help prevent clogged pores while absorbing excess oil, while alow helps calm and hydrate the skin. Mix the ingredients, spoon them onto your face, hang out for 10 minutes, then rinse them off.

For Dry skin, try these recipes:

  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon honey
First of all, Greek yogurt feels sooo good on your skin!  Second of all, it's loaded with tons of good things, like probiotics which help with inflammation and lactic acid which is a great softener.  Mix it in a bowl with oatmeal and honey, (so good for hydration, and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
OR...
Another goodie (dry skin) is:
  • Half an avocado, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon honey
Avocados are full of fatty acids, which help soothe and moisturize your dry skin, while honey is a natural hydrator and astringent.  Mix and mash the two together, slather all over your face, then wash off after 10 - 20 minutes!
