This week's practice is dedicated to the energy of fear. Fear is an emotional response to a perceived threat or danger. The threat doesn't have to be real for your body to automatically move into a fight, flight, or freeze response! WILD!
This automatic and powerful response is crucial for handling life's challenges. However chronic fear can lead to an array of issues including high pressure, anxiety, and insomnia to name just a few. By learning how fear manifests in our body you can rewire your brain and learn how to process and manage your reactions better. By recognizing these sensations associated with fear, we can develop practices to stay calm and cultivate the courage and acceptance we need to get through life’s challenges and make more thoughtful decisions.
